Working CW is always fun, especially on the low bands. Try listening
on 3521 or 1811 to hear a few of those who gather there. Pactor,
and occasional amtor, make for a good
combination
for an operator who doesn't enjoy using fone. The only use my VHF gear
has is for satellite work. The FT-726R is used for satellite work, both on digi and cw. The antennas for that rig are homemade
yagis that are being changed frequently. The FT-890 is used to work
the LEO analogue satellites. The computer used with the FT-990 is an 800 with Wisp, InstaTrack, and KaGold software. The digi stuff is done using
MFJ-1278 and Kam Plus TNC's.
How about a few pictures.
